Vanessa Reid, Owner
Vanessa Reid is shared owner along with Matt Reid of Platinum Automotive LLC. She provides great support in bringing the experience she gained through her 20 years in customer service. Customer service is my specialty. I've had a knack for engaging others since my first sales job & love providing the best service available. I was raised in neighboring Leavenworth, KS & both of my parents were raised here as well. We have very rich history & deep roots in this community. Music is my passion. I enjoy teaching and playing piano & singing. I am blessed to take part in praise & worship with our local church. Fall is my favorite season of the year. Comfy sweaters, gazing into the fireplace aglow & smores make for the perfect evening. One of the most memorable moments I have is getting tossed underwater out of my raft while white water rafting on the Royal Gorge in Colorado. I can still recall the fishy water taste that lasted in my mouth afterwards.

I am EXTREMELY happy I was referred to Platinum by friends and family. I will never have my vehicles services anywhere else. Jack was professional, down to earth, and the communication over the couple of days it took them to fix my alternator was appreciated. I purchased my vehicle from my sister and brother in law in November of 2022. They typically had the vehicle serviced at a Honda dealership. The check engine light had been on and they were not able to get it off, but it was only reading/coding as the fuel cap. I had a few other mechanics attempt to get it to go off and no one was successful. Not only did I get my vehicle back and operating wonderful, I was shocked to see the check engine light off. I highly recommend Platinum to anyone looking for a mechanic!

Yesterday afternoon I called Platinum seeking a referral on a possible windshield repair. "Nate" readily answered the call, had the necessary information at his immediate disposal, and generally inquired as to the well-being of both myself as well as my vehicle. Thankfully my need for this referral was not directly related to more recent (and very severe) weather/road conditions in the Greater Kansas City area. I was impressed that the representative appreciated the aforementioned possibility, as it was a very real one. I am without doubt that he would have shown even more empathy had my situation, all things considered, been more dire. Have been a loyal customer going on four years now and would highly recommend.

My family and I have been loyal customers for over a year. Everyone is very polite, and takes time to ensure you not only know what's going on with your vehicle, but HOW it works. Prices are extremely fair, and the waiting room usually has an adorable dog- what's not to love?
